“The capitalist system has led to a concentration of wealth in a small handful of elites while working people suffer,” says Omar’s vision statement. “We must stop the exploitation of working people to create a fair and just economy.”

Squaring this up with open borders is hilarious. Open borders serve to suppress the wages of working people, and to simply provide people who consume products more consistently over their entire lives than the majority population. Diversity makes worker “solidarity” impossible. Leftists are quite confused.

Actually, that’s not right. They are not confused at all. All of their alleged contradictions aren’t really contradictions. It all makes sense if the goal is wiping out and replacing the majority populations in Europe and the Anglosphere.

“The capitalist system has led to a concentration of wealth in a small handful of elites while working people suffer,” says Omar’s vision statement.
Considering "the progress of science and the useful arts” (as the Constitution puts it) which was intentionally fostered in America by the Constitution, and effectuated by “capitalists,” an American secretary in 2019 would have to think long and hard about changing circumstances with Queen Victoria (1819-1901).

Victoria, of course, had prestige out the wazoo - but the “health care" her family “enjoyed” would not be considered worthy of the name today. As a consequence of which, her husband died relatively young by today’s standards - and she was a depressed widow for decades.

Victoria had good food - but she couldn’t eat more good food than our secretary. Victoria had the ability to sail by steamship and rail - but not in an automobile and on roads worthy of modern standards, and not in an airliner capable of traveling around the globe in a couple of days.

Victoria enjoyed concerts, no doubt - but not music selected for taste, available 24/7. No Internet, no computer, no cell phone, etc.

What is this “concentration” of wealth of which you speak? Far more accurate to speak of a fantastically prolific cornocopia of wealth, enjoyed first by its entrepreneurial inventors but gushing - not “trickling" but gushing - down to working people.

Why socialists need capitalism (to generate new things to which socialists can say everyone is “entitled”)
