Fortunately, there is a simple way to end the companys monopoly without breaking up its search engine, and that is to turn its indexthe mammoth and ever-growing database it maintains of internet contentinto a kind of public commons. There is precedent for this both in law and in Googles business practices. When private ownership of essential resources and serviceswater, electricity, telecommunications, and so onno longer serves the public interest, governments often step in to control them. One particular government intervention is especially relevant to the Big Tech dilemma: the 1956 consent decree in the U.S. in which AT&T agreed to share all its patents with other companies free of charge. As tech investor, Roger McNamee, and others have pointed out, that sharing reverberated around the world, leading to a significant increase in technological competition and innovation. Im talking about requiring Google to share its entire index with outside entitiesbusinesses, nonprofit organizations, even individualsthrough what programmers call anapplication programming interface, or API. Google already allows this kind of sharing with a chosen few, most notably a small but ingenious company called Startpage, which is based in the Netherlands. In 2009, Google granted Startpage access to its index in return for fees generated by ads placed near Startpage search results.
Read off any number of Dr. Epstein's points about Google producing millions of votes for Hillary Clinton or influencing 78 million votes in 2018, or that Google controls 25% of all national elections worldwide.
Ask them if they think it's correct that Google is undermining our political process, and if they think they will be elected if Google is rigging the election against them.
This is the #1 most important issue for 2020. Everything else can be fixed, but once Google has a lock on our election system, and make no mistake, that's their objective in 2020, it's over for this country.

I know the attached document is long, but I cant stress this enough READ EVERY SINGLE WORD! Write to your senators, spread this on Twitter, FB and other social media. Do everything you can! Its the only way! And please keep supporting Senator Cruz in his quest to expose these companies for these malpractices!
In his famous departing speech in January, 1961, President Eisenhower warned about the possible rise of a technological elite that could control public policy without peoples awareness (Epstein, 2016a, 2018c). That elite now exists, and they have more power than you think. Its up to Congress to determine where we go from here.
Dr. Epstein is a Harvard grad and there is an extensive listing of his articles, books and papers at the end of the document.
I use duck, duck, go.
I do,too, but startpage is almost a mirror of Google and I sometimes find I have to migrate to Google because Duck can come up short, especially tech and scholarly documents.
We can end the threat more effectively by performing e-discovery on Google communications and frog-marching every last one of them who willingly engaged in manipulation of election outcomes to the gallows.
Google is closer to a hostile foreign power than a tech company now.
Trump is exposing the social media bias now to head it off prior to the election.
If he doesn’t, it will be too late and they will continue to do it more.
If he doesnt, it will be too late and they will continue to do it more.
They will continue and continue and continue ...
Have a great day!

Facebook and Youtube just as bad ...
Have a great day!
FB I agree.
YouTube is owned by Google now FYI.
YouTube is owned by Google now FYI.
I didn't know that about Youtube, just a little chilling, that information.
Have a wonderful day!
I switched search engines to DuckDuckGo and viola! The articles Google wouldn't show appeared.
Do you have links for those articles?
I switched search engines to DuckDuckGo and viola! The articles Google wouldn't show appeared.
that is really kind of profound. All of the talk I've heard or read about is about manipulating results, not too much about actual deletions. Thanks for the info!
Have a happy day!
No. I'd have to go back and re-create the original search attempts.
I think it was a manipulation of results.
Kind of on the same subject, I used to be able to find the full video of this from a speech in 2014.
Biden: We need constant, unrelenting stream of immigrants.
Now I can only find snippets that don’t give the full context.
I tried multiple search engines. If anyone can find it please post a link.
Google changes search results in a biased manner.

Google owns several large things. And they can be broken up. Besides the universally used search engine, Google owns Youtube. But even more importantly, they own the OS (android) of almost every cell phone outside of Apple. They watch you, they keep track of your whereabouts. They own Gmail as well, so they can and do read your email. And what you don’t see is the ownership of their ad business that tracks most cookies and usage across many web-sites not owned by Google.
