“WTF is a “paper straw????”

Waxed paper.

It was the straw of the sixties, and a cold thick McDonald’s milkshake would usually collapse them.

But they were fine for soft drinks stuff like that. In fact when you bought your milk in elementary school from the milk cart that came to each room you paid $0.02 for the milk and you got a paper straw to drink the milk out of the carton with.

Those were the days...

Ya, usually, I would get two straws to sip the milkshake through. Or just throw the dam things away and drink it without.

It was 3 cents for milk when I was a kid.
