Just a note about my one small claim to fame: my Uncle,who died about 6 months before I was born and after whom I am named is buried about 30 feet from where Old Man Kennedy,Rose and several other Kennedys are buried....in Brookline,MA.
I go to visit him occasionally because I often pass by that cemetery and while there I'm always tempted to empty my bladder on that nearby gravesite...but I haven't.

Although I myself drove a VW bug for a long time, they had the unfortunate tendency to blow up in a head on collision. The gas tank was immediately in front of the driver and front seat passenger. As a young lawyer, I had to work on a gruesome exploding VW case, including awful pictures of the victims after it was over.

Coincidence! I literally just finished listening to Howie Carr’s podcast of Chappaquiddick and the mention that book.
Need to add to my library.
The author of Senatorial Privilege, Leo Damore, was harassed and sued by the Kennedy lawyers for years after the book came out.
Kennedy tried to prevent the book from being published and threatened several potential publishers.
Leo Damore died under very suspicious circumstances.
It’s not complicated. He didn’t lose control of the car; he simply drove it off the bridge because he was $hitfaced.
Ted Kennedy testified under oath that he was driving the car.
Murder. 3rd degree. Or vehicular man slaughter
What did this Kennedy get ? Nothing
