I remember my brain gave me a warning signal the first time I seen where the gas tank was in one of them. Should have had some protective reinforcement around the tank, imo.
A long time ago I seen a documentary on it and the hotel clerk said Kennedy walked in cool, collected, and dry that night. Next morning some people came to talk to Kennedy and he said that that he just looked terribly shaken by what he had been told. Just saying....

Nice family story, Stanne. My Dad built spacecraft at GE for years. His team built the power plant for the Voyager spacecraft that have left the solar system and are still sending data back to earth. He took the family to the Cape to watch the Voyager launch, but I had a work conflict and couldn’t go. I really regret to this day not re-arranging work so I could go.
The capstone of his career was a super-secret project that he could not breathe a word about other than “Son, you can’t believe how important this is to our national defense.” I still have no idea what it was.

Last good film was a few years ago. Mark Wahlberg did a good job with the marathon bombing. Good cast even
