I have been following the story of Ilhan Omar closely on the poerlineblog.com. Scott Johnson has been faithful in reporting on her activities over the years.
This information, however, is totally new to me and probably to most others too.
I would like to know more about her father’s history with the communist dictatorship in Somalia. I am curious whether his past is the reason she falsely utilized another family’s name when applying for and getting an entrance visa into the USA.
Somalia is and was very corrupt. Ilhan Omar’s grandfather had to have participated at least tangentially in the ethnic cleansing. He was a Director of Marine Transport . He might not have killed anyone personally but he had to approve of Barre
