I would think then Trump was more Centrist, than Liberal.
It’s a sliding scale. Compared to how the typical FR Poster thinks, I would call him a typical Liberal of the time.
A Centrist of today and a Centrist of the 1990’s are two different Animals. For instance, a Democrat Centrist back then would never defend Infanticide, today it’s a Democrat Policy.
