It might be informative to have the NYT and that other paper produce their Employee records of 50 years ago to show how many women THEY were employing and in WHAT jobs (typing pool or cafeteria staff aren’t quite the same as ‘journalists’ and editors ...)
I wouldnt give a plugged nickel for these peoples lives In the future when enough people know how they have been lied to by them and how much they have damaged our country.
You could conduct additional research to find out how many articles or editorials were published in the NY Times or Washington Post during the same period advocating for women astronauts.
