I imagine to the haters at NBC (and others) that it would be a slam-dunk that relations are getting worse, like the slam-dunk that Mrs. Bill Clinton would win the election. You failed (again) NBC!
Think about the Trayvon Martin incident. Think about the Ferguson riots. Think about that cigarette smuggler in New York City. What was his name? The race riots that occurred after his death. Think of the Baltimore riots. Think of all the other examples of racial unrest. When did these happen? When did these problems occur? Under Obama.
Next, think of all the Islamic atrocities. Fort Hood massacre. Orlando massacre. San Bernardino massacre. Many more. All under Obama.
Now think about how quiet and peaceful things are under Trump. Sure there is racial unrest. Sure there are Muslims plotting to kill and destroy. But we have not had the type of events that were common and ordinary when Obama was president.
And of course this is all by design. Obama orchestrated and created crises and problems and unrest and riots and worse all to his advantage.
I meet many black people who outright support Trump. I meet even more who support his polices. The last election saw young black men go for Trump in huge numbers vs previous years for GOP candidates. Mexicans and Latin Americans probably closing in on a majority.
But most of them cannot bring themselves to say it out loud.
