Wait a minute! Was Sal Cincinelli married to Valerie Cincinelli at one time?
Was he the current husband (estranged?)

She is an NYPD cop accused of hiring a hit man to murder an ex-husband (not named Cincinelli). The article I’ve linked says she’s been married twice. Her current boyfriend tipped off the FBI to the plot.

Looking a bit further into this, Valerie may be Sal’s sister. Who knows...

Very hard to find much at all about this family. A lot of articles about her arrest but pretty much nothing else.

Sal’s obituary (cached link) has the funeral services and nothing else. No survivors or other details of his life.

This was on the news a while back. She had received an award for something and then the hit man hire story came out.
