President Trump on Friday lashed out at Democrats over their ongoing investigations into his administration, suggesting there should instead be probes into former President Obama's book deal and other activities under his predecessor.
"They want to investigate, they want to go fishing and I watched Bob Mueller and they have nothing," Trump said of Democrats during an Oval Office gathering to announce an agreement with Guatemala.
"It's a disgrace," he continued. "We want to find out what happened the last Democrat president. Let's look into Obama the way they've looked into me. From day one they've looked into everything we've done."

Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama signed lucrative book deals with Penguin Random House in 2017. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
He could make heads truly explode by saying two words:
“Birth certificate”
Id suggest looking at the Netflix deal with Obama. Likely nothing more than a big payoff to push Net Neutrality.

His book deal? Who cares? That’s mouse nuts. Go for something BIG, like Obama subverting the Constitution or the Clinton Foundation or the Uranium One deal or the Iran Deal.
Trump doesn’t say that without knowing something.

That’s a pretty good payoff to someone.
Money was probably laundered through Bertelsmann, the publishers owner.
Especially considering he took his first book advance decades ago and produced nothing.
Start with 2 items.
1. Pallets of cash freely given to Iran.
2, American Uranium sold to Russia and the money deposited in the Clinton’s bank account.
Russia gate is nothing compared to those 2 starting items.
When those 2 items are underway, then I want to know what really happened to Osama bin Laden.
There’s no way they just shot him and dumped his body at sea.
I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a spare bedroom in the Obama mansion where he’s a guest and binges on Netflix soaps.
Trump is negotiating. The dems are throwing all sorts of threats out there, subpoena his taxes, his wife’s cell phone records, his kids records, etc etc. So he basically is saying “you know what, if you want to go down that path I’m not going to play games. I have the ability to start looking at Obama and and Hillary and I will. You know better than anyone whether or not there might be some ugly things coming to light if I were to do that. Are you really sure you want me to do that? Your move.”
Right. Which is the same old mutual assured destruction DC game.
I wish Pompeo would finally shutter that shrine to Hillary at the 21st Street entrance to State. Bastards changed the policy about putting pictures of POTUS, VP and SecState in State bldgs after Trump was elected.

I care , book deals are really a facade to pump money to friendlies and then producing fake publishing numbers to cover it up
Just another vehicle to pad the coffers of the Deep State operatives most typically in congress or other sensitive positions
