That is for sure-a couple of pretty good movies made on that subject in the last few years, too.
A couple of years ago, one of my neighbors got conned that way by a much-younger broad he met online-he went to visit her in Florida, saying it was a business trip-which wasn’t unusual. But his wife of some 36 years thought something was hinky, got into his e-mail and social media online and found plenty of s*** like how much money he was taking to this con artist for sex and 2 days of company-so she was loaded for bear when hubby came through the gate and down the driveway.
Within 15 minutes the shouting of profanities and death threats started, she had lighted a huge fire in the barbecue pit and thrown all the clothes in his suitcase on it, he pushed her, she punched him and a knock down/drag out started, somebody fired a gun and a neighbor called the sheriff-this is the middle of nowhere but everyone on this road saw the smoke, heard the yelling, sirens, etc-both of them were fined and arrested-they are still together-go figure...
I think every guy who ever drew breath fully understands the stupidity we are capable of!

Well, the guy’s wallet was in one of the pairs of pants that his wife burned in the pit-in it was the money left over after the Florida trip-over $800.00-I’m sure that is a permanent reminder of the consequences of doing stupid things...
You know, I never enjoyed that movie “The War of The Roses” which had the part IIRC where the guy cut the car in half with a chainsaw because of a dispute over who got the car...
Thing was, the movie was so close to reality of what people do to each other when marriage goes bad that I found it mostly depressing to watch!
I am a man with all the good and bad that seemingly goes along with that, and no doubt possess the bottomless capability to do stupid things that men can do, but I love my wife and hope to God that if I am ever presented with the tempting opportunity to do something really, really stupid, I will be able to draw on my love for her to keep myself on the straight and narrow.

Haider was the transgender “girlfriend” of the woman who propositioned Hay in the hardware store in the first place. Since she (he) was trans, maybe she/he IS the father of the baby. There was no mention of a paternity test. Surely Hay requested one?

That is exactly what I thought of when I started reading this.
Thanks for posting. That’s one long article, but very instructive about the threats to men in today’s society from unhinged and money-grubbing women. It’s a fascinating story about Hays and his wife’s descent into Hell by the two lesbians.
Executive Summary. Money-grubbing lesbian con artists who “just really hate the patriarchy, that’s it” shake down Harvard Law professor for money and almost destroy his life and marriage.
It’s actually a fascinating story of human behavior.
“Punchline. Men are idiots?”
It seems more like “there’s a whole new class of money-grubbing gold diggers out there - man-hating lesbians determined to make men’s lives miserable while shaking them down for lots of money.”
“Another skill is getting the reader to keep on reading even after he is bored.”
It was kind of like trying to turn away from a horrendous car wreck on the freeway. I just couldn’t turn away.
It reminds me a quite a few movies I’ve seen where, after enduring 90 excruciating minutes, I begin wondering “Will this thing EVER get started?” and, next thing I know, the credits are rolling.

After reading this long and tedious piece, there is a familiarity to the ‘stuff’. I suggest that you and the author of the piece find and absorb a Book by M. Scott Peck, titled: Peopl;e of The Lie. This scenario as described int he piece is a variation on the theme ..
Apparently Mischa claimed multiple times to multiple victims that “she” had had to postpone “her” surgery due to stress of dealing with various perceived difficulties she claimed were caused by ...her victims!
This is gaslighting behavior typical of a psychopath.
Another FReeper speculated Mischa the tranny was the father of the lesbo’s children. That’s entirely plausible.

Seeing that should have been the line in the sand for Hay. Nope, this love affair is going south, and I’ll let it go south... without me.
