Great story about this clown. About 10 years ago our small town military welcome group was at the airport to greet a young troop returning from Afghanistan. The airport was full of cheering people and American flags. Ron wyden was on the flight to. I watched him coming into the reception area thinking the gathering was a welcome for him. I saw him mentally preparing a speech. When he walked in he waved and started speaking. The entire crowd started laughing at him and jeering him. It was epic. The troop came in behind and received a hero’s welcome
