I dont know who first made the point that the demand for racism today exceeds the supply, which is why we see things like the Jussie Smollette hoax and countless other campus racism hoaxes. And now Trump has the lefts Default Dog Whistle Racism Detector turned up to 11 with his attacks on cities and districts run chiefly by African-American and Democratic Party machines, because for the left criticism of any non-white politician is off limits.
I have a simple theory: Trump knows what hes doing. This is the political equivalent of Crazy Eddie, the frenetic TV ad pitchman constantly hawking his insane sales on electronic goods. In Trumps case, hes forcing the left to max out its race card, such that the lefts bankruptcy after Trumps re-election next year will be epic.
For one thing, Trumps instincts on this are likely to be vindicated once again. Guess what? While the left is agitated about a supposed revival of white nationalism and racist nativism among the American people, empirical evidence finds that racism is at an all-time low, and has actually declined since the 2016 election. Thats the finding of a recent paper posted on SSRN by Prof. Daniel Hopkins and Samantha Washington of the University of Pennsylvania entitled The Rise of Trump, the Fall of Prejudice? Tracking White Americans Racial Attitudes 2008-2018 via a Panel Survey.
UPDATE/chaserNews story breaking this morning out of Washington:
The executive director of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) resigned Monday after Democratic lawmakers and DCCC staffers lashed out publicly at the organizations leadership over their failure to prioritize racial diversity.
Keep it up, Dems.

Although many of us, myself included, do not like the President’s style, he speaks the Truth in the only way he can be heard above the din.
Telling truth in a time of universal deceit is a revolutionary act.
That’s what he’s doing.
Exposing the people responsible for the plight of their constituents.
Baltimore, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles did not become sh!+holes accidently.
Agree 100%.
Yes, I do. At least vaguely.
Well, I’m at the opposite side of the State, and I remember Crazy Eddie.
Were dealing with crooks and traitors so at this point the presidents abrasive style is fine with me!
Grew up in eastern CT. Everybody knew Crazy Eddie and his commercials!
"Buy at Moscow Highland, find it for less. We exile you for 30 days, plus 10 of your relatives!"
They would beat any advertised price - you had to bring the ad.
But, their normal prices were higher than everyone else. People who just came in off the street and bought something ended up paying more than they would at other stores.
That’s just the Ad guy. Crazy Eddie Antar looked more like Yasser Arafat. Boy those were the most annoying commercials in my lifetime.
If he is doing a “crazy” anything it is a “crazy Ivan.” Casting aside the Russian connection (which Dems never will), you will recall from “Hunt for Red October” that Russian ballistic submarines would periodically come violently about making an American sub silently stalking them in the turbulence of their prop wake either shear off or hit them. That is what Trump is doing - he is making his enemies either shear off or run into him. The libtards just don’t know how to handle him. They either shear away from him in confusion and dismay, or just run right into him in a direct and public confrontation with everyone knowing just how much a nasty stalker the Libtard was. Pure political genius.
I saw many a Crazy Eddie commercial when living in Alaska - the local cable company carried one New York station, which also featured the Joe Franklin Show.
My best friend in HS, his last name was Edison. We nicknamed him Crazy Ed.
Anyway, how do you know about Crazy Ed? I thought you lived someplace east of Kiev.
Crazy Eddie is also a “metaphorical” alien character in the science fiction novel, The Mote In God’s Eye.
The particular species, over and over again, grows so populous that they can’t survive and there is a war that wipes out most of the population. Each such cycle there is supposedly at least one “crazy Eddie” that proposes a different way of life so that they can avoid war. He is ignored as the species sees the cycle as inevitable.
