If Mueller Wasn’t in Charge, Who Was?
American Thinker ^ | July 29, 2019 | Brian C. Joondeph

Special Counsel Robert Mueller had a bad day last week. The build-up to his congressional testimony rivaled that of Geraldo Rivera opening Al Capone’s vault. Endless fanfare and hype, but both Mueller and the vault were empty, devoid of treasure, or any smoking gun.

At one level, Mueller is a sad figure, a doddering old man, looking foolish on an international stage, after being praised for two years for his legal acumen and integrity.

Was his performance genuine or contrived? Was he trying to salvage his reputation as a card-carrying deep-state elitist by playing a sympathetic old man being badgered by nasty Republicans? Did Democrats throw him under the bus in their unending quest to nullify the 2016 election, regardless of the personal toll on him and his family?

It’s clear he was not in charge of his own investigation. He not only didn’t write the report, which bears his name, but it’s uncertain if he even read it. If he did, he was certainly unfamiliar with the basics of the investigation. Anyone who listens to conservative talk radio or watches any of the Fox News opinion shows knew far more about the “Mueller Report” than its namesake.

Rosenstein appointed Mueller as the man in charge of the special counsel’s office and the fraudulent investigation. What Mueller actually did, other than collect a paycheck, is not known. Rosenstein oversaw this and worked to keep this obviously fraudulent investigation going. Rosenstein gave the investigators unprecedented, even illegal, authority, unlimited scope and absolutely no restrictions.

The entire D.C. establishment, including many Republicans, supported this fraudulent investigation and warned President Trump not to interfere in any way.

As the investigation got more and more out of control and became more and more dishonest not a single person in the D.C. establishment made any attempt to restore the rule of law.

Mueller had no idea what he was doing and did not care.

Who was really in charge?

If Mueller was not running the investigation,
wouldn't that constitute Purgatory before the Court?

Couldn’t be farther from the truth, as the world now knows. What he had going into this was a reputation, improperly given to him, when it was actually his corruption and the weight of the federal government that allowed him to do what he did. Pretty hard to fight someone when they have an endless supply of resources(DOJ, FBI, Federal Courts) and you have to pay your $1000-1500/hr lawyer or get a federal public defender. And with federal court, you can’t just walk in the courtroom with any old lawyer. They have to be admitted to be able to practice in federal court.

So you’re screwed, unless you’re Warren Buffet rich. You know? The guy that says he should be taxed more, but has an army of tax lawyers fighting the government that they say he owes.

Older articles but still worth noting the hypocrisy and what he must of spent on those lawyers.

Rosenstein and Wiseman.

Rosenstein initiated it, with certain marching orders and allowed it to expand.

Wiseman to pick the partisan hacks and run Day to Day operations.

Both should be watering the Tree of Liberty, as I type.

Or, Uncle Robert was channeling Vinny “The Chin” Gigante.

All that was missing was the pajamas.

Exactly. Better known as the UniParty.
GOPe = RAT = UniParty = Deep State = Communists
Yeah, they may all wear different hats and tell different lies, but their end goal is all the SAME and it sure as hell isn’t to MAGA....quite the opposite actually.

Yep. Rosenstein’s biased and almost certainly illegal scope memo is the root of the post election Deep State coup against POTUS.

I see Rotten Rod is on twitter now. Praising Coats. If there was any question where his loyalty was there is your answer.

I think Rosenstein cut a deal and is baiting the others in the seditious conspiracy.

Nope. Rosenstein wrote the investigative scope memo and was in charge. Weissmann could not investigate anything he did not approve of. And equally important not investigate the Democrat-Russia collusion.

I don’t. He’s all over twitter praising Coats. He still thinks the Deep State will protect him. He’s probably right, unfortunately.

I disagree, Rosenstein in the end proved the undoing of the Mueller team by backing up Barr on obstruction.

He was the technical head but was not much more involved then Mueller. Weissmann was for all intent and purpose the functioning CEO.

"Or, Uncle Robert was channeling Vinny “The Chin” Gigante."

The Chin was trying to establish a legal insanity defense. He was running the Gambino Family.

Uncle Bobby is more like Willy Moretti. He was "soft in the head", from tertiary syphilis, and was whacked to shut him up, after he clowned it, in front of the Kefauver hearings.
