Gee, that will probably shame all Trump supporters into voting against him. Maybe we should argue that the Democrats are the “real racists” and that will shame all of them into supporting the GOP. It’s all so tiresome.

This is dangerous on several accounts.
1. It normalizes a tiny fringe.
By saying half the population are racists, it normalizes what is really a tiny fringe. They end up getting a lot more people interested in the white nationalist movement and being less interested in shutting it down/countering with good speech.
2. Smearing everyone with this slur IS incitement to violence.
Liberal bullies are bragging about bashing the fascists, wanting to throw acid/beat people up, actively calling for liberal violence.
And they smear these toxic labels on everyone. When orthodox Jews like Ben Shapiro and Dennis Prager are unironically labeled Nazis by Big Tech (as the reason to censor them), ANYONE can be smeared with these labels ...
This is akin to calling someone a blasphemer in Pakistan.
The liberal bullies know full well that calling someone that name will trigger a violent liberal mob to tear down and possibly even hurt the target. And that’s why they use it.
In other cases, it is to systematically oppress whole groups, make them fear for their safety so they never challenge the false narrative that everyone agrees with liberal orthodoxy. Liberal bullies even defend false accusations of rape, sexual harassment and racism and the harm to an innocent person by DEFENDING it. That the innocent person ruined doesn’t matter, because it makes others too afraid to ever dissent.
After the way it’s been used these last 10 years the word means nothing.
