A women’s rights group demanded action after a transgender weightlifter dominated a recent tournament and is free to compete at next year’s Tokyo Olympics.
The controversy stems from Laurel Hubbard’s performance at the Games in Samoa earlier this month, where she won two golds and a silver in three of the women’s heavyweight categories.
Women’s rights groups say that Hubbard, who competed for New Zealand in men’s weightlifting before her transition in her thirties, is having an “unfair” advantage against women and shouldn’t be allowed to compete in the Olympics in the women’s category.

We have men competing as women.
However we have collectively lost our minds that we pretend that the men are actually women.

Of course, feminists are late to the party on this issue with the exception of radical fems and Germaine Greer. They seem to be asleep on every issue that is important to the ordinary women of the US and when they wake up, the horse is out of the barn. Pathetic.
They are correct. Hubbard is not a woman. He is a mutilated man pretending to be a woman. The only games he should be allowed to compete in are the yet to exist "No Rules Olympics".
Women’s sports needs to be defined by two X chromosomes, otherwise there will be no women’s sports.
I feel for female athletes who really just want to compete the very best they can among real females.

you know- during the olympics- women and men get disqualified if they use steroids or hormones or other enhancing drugs- yet here we have men pretending to be women, who have a hormonal advantage over women DESPITE taking drugs to suppress male hormones- and they must take hormone altering drugs to do so- yet there is NO way to tell, as far as I know- if a man who is pretending to be a woman doesn’t have more male hormone than women at any given point- and no matter how much you suppress certain hormones, men are still going to be stronger than real women in most cases-
another thought- women and the left have been trying to emasculate men for a long time now- and now they have got their wish with these sick men emasculating themselves- and these men are now competing against the women and winning and the women don’t like it- You got what you wanted women- now quit yer whinin!
The rest of the competitors should simply walk out.
