Page was an FBI/CIA asset. So obviously they lied when they got the warrant on him. My only question is, was he a witting participant. He has loudly proclaimed that he was innocent, that he was used, but I’m not convinced.
Still, he was Typhoid Mary, carrying a surveillance warrant over his head everywhere he went and passing it to everyone he met.
I was wondering that too since he was so eager to arrange a meeting with the Russians but Sam Clovis and Sessions kept shooting down the idea.
On the other hand the articles about him being so eager to arrange the meeting were alike except for the key detail of which person shot him down so I suspect those articles were deliberate leaks from Trump’s team to see exactly who the inner circle leaker/leakers were. There was just something not quite right about those articles in different papers.
