By the same reasoning, Obama was the reason we got Trump. So, in effect, George created the bomb that blew up his big brother.
The reason O became president is not because of Bush’s failures, it is because 1) the D’s have genuine hatred for anyone not a D. 2) The D’s have been cheating in elections for the last 100 years, and have never been prosecuted, which is a deep state problem. Because they have never been prosecuted, every election they ramp up the cheating levels to new high water marks. 3) The “regime change” was supposed to happen in 2000, with Glow-bull Warming Gore replacing Clinton, but Bush’s victory was unexpected. The long knives were out for Bush from day 1, and he would have been a 1 term President if not for 9/11. 4) Obama had 3 things that Commander McQueeg did not have. 1) The dem cheating machine, 2) Charisma, and 3) a convenient crisis that was actually caused by Dem legislation but that could be blamed on Republicans.
And to add to your excellent observation. We nominated McCain, Bush (Rove) would not fight back, and once Sarah Palin
was selected as McCain’s running mate, a lot of RINOS went out of their way to attack her.
