Within my lifetime, it was the mainstream, common-sense position.

One big difference in Trump and Putin. Putin is an orthodox Christian and will never cave to the homosexual agenda. He knows the destruction it has on the youth and he will not tolerate it. Trump on the other hand has no strong moral convictions. He has been a great pro life president but I think if he had ran as a democrat he would be supporting abortion. The biggest disappointment of Trump’s presidency is him continuing the sodomization of America. When he let Mattis ignore his order to get rid of drag queens in the military I know Trump was not a committed Christian. I also think if the Evangelical leaders like Jeffress, Franklin Graham and the others who support him could get him in a room and tell him he’s on thin ice with Christians in supporting the homosexual agenda he would change his mind.

It seems to me that he has shown the ability to follow Benjamin Franklin’s example and change his mind when the facts require it, so you may very well be right.
I sure wish somebody would school him on the true nature of sodomy.
Recall when he was governor of Indiana, he vetoed a bill that would make it illegal to sue those who decline to make a cake, etc. for those who objected for religious purposes.
Mike Pence and his beliefs play no part in what Trump believes. Trump makes his own decisions and doesn’t need Pence’s okay on any of them. Trump is the President, case closed. Not killing homosexuals because of what they do in their private life makes the USA better than most other countries in the world. Do you guys really want to be on the same level at Zimbabwe, or Saudi Arabia? I’d like to think we’re all better than that.
