I’ve seen them. Ron Paul warned us about them - but we didn’t listen. They’re too high to shoot down.
Stay inside with blinds/curtains closed. If you have something reflective, put it on your roof. Avoid using electronic communications when contacting your cell...I mean friends. Communicate only via courier if possible.
Stand by for future directives...I mean, ah heck, it’s all fine. Hey, are the Red Sox playing tonight?

when an event happens somewhere in the surveilled area, you can potentially rewind the tape to see exactly what occurred, and rewind even further to see who was involved and where they came from.Better start wearing my new T-shirt...

As I recall, these are not new. I’m pretty sure such tethered baloons were used in Texas years ago. I seem to recall seing them from a very long ways away and they grew larger and larger as you approached.

“Tethered balloons is a hazard to aviation.”
The only way you’d know this is if YOU were part of them!

So uh...how is this not a violation of Posse Comitatus if actually guarding the border is?
Last time I checked Iowa is um...bordered only by other States of the United States.

It would not surprise me if the influx of illegals is merely the excuse the libs created to surveil the rest of us.

The government was testing two tethered balloons loaded with some sort of missile warning technology in Maryland.
One day, our power spiked as one of the balloons got loose and dragged a mile of cable behind it. It made it all the way to Pennsylvania, causing lots of damage along the way.
A friend knew the cops who shot it down.

Why aren’t these balloons guarding the border instead?
To: MplsSteve
Instead everyone needs to go out and moon them when the thing is overhead

Should put a cell phone on that shirt.
To: Deaf Smith
My first thought also. Are the balloon locations designated as restricted airspace?
To: bert
Yes not new. One was shot down over Baltimore a while back after it got loose.

I'd be more worried with Google or Amazon balloons.
