Kathy are you getting smoke from Russian fires?
Hi Everybody!
(((HUGS)))
A blessed Lord’s Day to one and all!
Not yet....could be coming to the west coast tho. I’m in Anchorage.
Are you still getting some summer?
And a good evening to you and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Hai Kathy! (((HUGS))) Packing up to leave early AM.
It is too hot but then it is in the low 80s. Some sprinkles, come on Monsoon.
Be blessed and thank you for what you do.
What a heartwarming story and lesson, thanks Kathy!
Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...and a Blessed Lord’s Day and Shavua Tov.
A Blue day? Penny hugging her porch?
Got warm again here. Windows open and trying not to turn on the fans.
Another hot and humid day. Penny and I mostly hung around indoors, but we did go to the bank together this morning (WOO HOO!).
They love her there, it’s like she’s a celebrity.

Bible in a Year : Psalms 6667; Romans 7
Let me tell you what [God] has done for me. Psalm 66:16
In the early 1900s, the Packard Motor Car Company generated a slogan to entice buyers. Ask the man who owns one became a powerful tagline, one that contributed to the companys reputation as manufacturing the dominant luxury vehicle in that era. What Packard seemed to understand is that personal testimony is compelling to the hearer: a friends satisfaction with a product is a powerful endorsement.
Sharing with others our personal experiences of Gods goodness to us also makes an impact. God invites us to declare our gratitude and joy not only to Him but also to those around us (Psalm 66:1). The psalmist eagerly shared in his song the forgiveness God granted him when he turned from his sins (vv. 1820).
God has done amazing works in the course of history, such as parting the waters of the Red Sea (v. 6). He also does amazing work in each of our personal lives: giving us hope in the midst of suffering, giving us the Holy Spirit to understand His Word, and providing for our daily needs. When we share with others our personal experiences of Gods work in our lives, were giving something of much greater value than an endorsement of a particular purchasewere acknowledging Gods goodness and encouraging one another along the journey of life.
Who can you tell about Gods work in your life? What story can you share?
God, help me declare the many wonderful ways Youve worked in my life!
Good Evening, lightman, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Thanks for the blessings.
Shavua Tov.
