Investigators are examining a screed believed to have been posted online by the suspect in Saturday's fatal shooting at a Texas shopping mall an hour before the attack, senior law enforcement officials say.
Investigators are “reasonably confident” that the suspect, identified by police as Patrick Wood Crusius, 21, of Texas, posted the diatribe on the extremist online forum 8chan before the shooting.
Terrorism experts warn that nothing should be taken at face value in the propaganda material left behind by hate crime suspects, which aim to provide fodder for social media pickup and mainstream media coverage.
The screed posted to the anonymous extremist message board railed against immigrants in Texas and pushed talking points about preserving European identity in America.

there is soemthign that doesn’t smell right about that ‘manifesto’- most sickos rail agaisnt govenrment, or a group of people, or soem system- and that is the sole focus of their rants- they don’t take time out to describe the weapons they are gonna use- or how they work- and lament about not having more powerful weapons- but this fella took time out to describe using an AK instead of an AR and lamenting that the AK wouldn’t work the same way as an AR-
It sounded to me like the freak might have been an anti-gun liberal who was willing to die in order to bring about gun restrictions because his ‘manifesto’ was almost like it was ‘explaining to everyone’ how bad guns are in his opinion- it’s like he wrote it to manipulate those who read it after he was gone if he were to die- looks like he was wanting to be a Marty re for an anti-gun agenda to me-
