i agree. I was relying to a question about how this guy wasn’t on the prohibited list because of lists he kept in high school.

I do not support universal background checks. I agree with you 100%. I only advocated for better using information under the existing program. People like the Dayton guy who were found to have hit lists and rape lists should be flagged. Information needs to make its way into the background check system that currently is not.

They don’t WANT the information to make it to the background check system.

They WANT these shootings.

They do NOT want ‘sensible gun laws’.

They just want your guns.

The more of these shootings they get the better the odds of that!

Access to mental heath info may be a problem. I had not fully considered. Maybe when tied to criminal conduct. Sealed and unsealed. I am just spit balling here, but I see the Parkland guy and Dayton guy who both were identified as problems for the legal system and made threats, but neither flagged. These are the types of things that can help with the issue but not infringe on yours or my ability to live freely.

True. The only way to avoid is to advocate for actual solutions and win elections to prevent the far left from gaining control.

The Parkland case is a perfect example of why these mandatory background checks will NOT work. That guy was known to be a dysfunctional mutant by everyone in law enforcement and the school administration who interacted with him, but they deliberately refused to report him anywhere because they didn’t want their school safety statistics to look bad.

> Obama sucked on all fronts but he didn’t trample the 2a.

Only because he was incompetent and was opposed.

“Please define “hate”.

So much for (C) ‘values. No more “I mean not agree w/ what you (have to) say...”, while beating ‘em in the arena of ideas w/ logical, well-reasoned debate, eh?”

Hate - I don’t mean as in the Lib’s definition of “hate” or “hate speech” - what I am referring to are platforms that serve only to amplify the mob violence effect we see today.

Think about it for a moment - these platforms have been dominant for a little over a decade now, Facebook and Twitter being two of the oldest in terms of mass reach.........

In that decade we’ve seen an exponential increase in the rates of political violence, mob violence, violence in general, and last but not least sexual perversion (I am talking about the kind that brings Drag Queens into our kids libraries and schools for “performances”). These social media entities allow that increase to exist - they can turn one angry deluded person into a mob very quickly.

Shut that down and you can tone down the violence.

What is the reason for your objection? Do you own stock in FB or Twitter or work for them?

Then, please, don’t fall into the Liberal lexicon; it’s the fastest/easiest way to concede ANY debate/argument from the 1st sentence.

I think you misplace the importance of the RADICAL indoctrination & MSM\media in that equation. Social media is huge...across the planet, maybe, but a microcosm taken on its own.

The ? can be asked w/o the dig attempt.

No, my obj. should be the same for EVERYONE that calls themselves (C), (L), Constitutionalists+: I may not agree w/ what you say, but I fill fight for your Right to do so.

If the “opposition” can’t counter, let alone go blow-for-blow vs., the message, you’ve lost before you even began. Yet, whom do the (R)N(C) push out as their spokespeople, but the same milquetoast limp-wrists. BRILLIANT! *SMH*
