As a high school student, the gunman in the Dayton, Ohio, massacre had a “hit list” of classmates he wanted to kill or hurt, according to four former students who said they were told by school officials they were on the list. ...

They say he wanted to accelerate Socialism but I don’t see how shooting his sister and her boyfriend turn into part of that.

So "school officials" knew he was a powder-keg, and did nothing?
So the solution is to take MY guns away?
And they're the "party of science"?

Exactly. If they were really the “party of science”, they would make sure that no democrats would have access to firearms. That alone would virtually eliminate all mass shootings.

He probably killed his sister to punish his parents.

Spite.

Yep. Same with the Parkland shooter. There was all kinds of ‘intel’ on that shooter. The majority of the shooters all give/gave clues; someone always knows something.

He’s spent his entire adolescence constructing a worldview that excuses himself for his failures and casts the blame on a class of people against whom he believes he’s justified in lashing out. Add suicidal ideation and a dearth of morals and the result is the nightmare we’ve just seen.

All of the interest in the beliefs of psychopath killers is just useless.

They are just plain nuts, and they are filled with rage.

Born that way, got that way, what ever......they are that way.

When we push back we just distract from that essential and commanding point.

They are and will always be, we’re better off making earthquakes illegal.

Although I haven't read exhaustively about this person, they didn't mention much about his parents. Where were they when he was growing up? Did they think anything disturbing about their son's proclivities? Did they ever seek help of any sort? Was the school in touch with them? Did other parents contact them?

Lots of warning signs there.
