Gosh, I thought we should all hate him and claim he's a "fake scientist" like Bill Nye simply because he's on the wrong side on the global warming debate. Apparently he "makes a living promoting the global warming scam" simply because some FReepers say so, and not because of the overall content of his programs or books. (For example, when I go thru a list of books he's written and promoting to the public on his website, not a single one focuses on that issue...)

Oh, and if Ayn Rand is wrong on a bunch of stuff, in that case its OK because we can "filter the bad stuff out". But NOT for Nye! Scumbag!

I don’t have any special dislike for him (love the star vest), and he’s certainty a “real” astrophysicist.

His TV show that they pimped so hard was boring as hell though. How do you make the majesty of the universe like watching paint dry? He found a way.

I didn’t know Nye was merely an engineer. I guess he’s the leftwing equivalent of Dr. Laura eh?
