A survivor of this weekends shooting in El Paso, Texas told CNNs Chris Cuomo that he was surprised when he found out that his gun-wielding mother did not bring her firearm with her to Walmart.
I ran towards my mother to try and shield her. And Im like mom. Cause my mom is a gun-wielding grandma. She carries a snub-nose Smith and Wesson, 38 special with a built in scope in it everywhere she goes, Grant said.
The man said he was shocked when he found out that his mother wasnt carrying her firearm.

This is why you
always carry
everywhere you're legally allowed to.
If you knew in advance that there'd be trouble, you wouldn't go in the first place.

By the way, does anybody have good data on the racial and ethnic identity of the El Paso victims?
(And the ethnic identity of the shooter? And clean text copy of the so-called manifesto?)

Darn things get heavy. ;-)
I even take credit cards out of my wallet because I don’t want to carry the weight.

One time, I was at a football game, and the hot dog vendor was passing a dog down the row and the money coming towards him both got to me at the same time, but I didn’t have my rocket pack, so I know how she feels.

Like my comment said, probably one of the S&W with a built in red dot laser.

If you knew in advance that there'd be trouble, you wouldn't go in the first place. Came here to say the same. I even carry in my shop downstairs.

Only 2.4% of licensed carriers carry all the time.
They don’t carry unless they perceive that the venue is dangerous.
Shooters look for venues that will provide opportunities to shoot as many as possible.
You will notice that the two rarely match.

This is why you always carry everywhere you're legally allowed to. I carry mine everywhere but the ballpark and airport.
I used to carry on public transit even though they were posted gun free zones. I figured what people don't see won't keep them up at night.

To: Yo-Yo
And a few you’re not technically supposed to. There’s a reason why it’s called “concealed carry”.

A fanny pack is your friend. Sorry, but they are not useless. They carry wallets, keys, phone, the CC gun, and extra mag.
