A curious (if ominous) post I recall reading several years ago—possibly here?—was from a gun store employee, who said that in recent years he had well-to-do customers buying multiple assault rifles, spare mags, tactical gear, ammo...like they were buying combat sets for several people. When asked why, they said it was for their families...they were fearing a French Revolution-type scenario.

What is turtle to do? Once Trump gets nominees for at least 12 Appeals judges for this fall to confirm, schedule one cloture/confirm a week starting mid September. Some issues with this:

2. 5th ckt flush the dud Hal Ozerden with hard core Federalist
3. Two 2nd ckt vacancies
4. Three 9th ckt GOP to senior status
5. Two 4th ckt GOP to senior status
6. One 11th ckt GOP from Ford to senior status
7. One 8th ckt GOP to senior status
8. Three 7th ckt GOP to senior status
Mitch needs to be polite or impolite to get all those 80 yr old judges to leave active status and get young replacements confirmed before Nov 2020.

As I said on another thread earlier this evening, this is just unbelievable. Elected Democrats at the federal and local level siding with protestors who openly call for the harassment and even murder of elected Republican officials. Where do they think this is going to lead?! They might want to consider that we have all the guns.

History and change march on. The changes in this country over the past few decades have been enormous, profound and probably irreversible. I think the present historical currents are swiftly leading us toward a much different and far less unified America. The cultural/political divide is tearing us apart slowly but surely.
If the Rats win in 2020 it will tell you everything you need to know about the future of the Republic.
Don’t depend on the Judiciary, including the SCOTUS to stop every Unconstitutional Law they pass.
A Rat POTUS will be using an Autopen to sign every Fascist Law designed to eliminate our God Given Rights passed by the Congress, and there will be hundreds of them.
