I don’t think you understand the John Jay report, nor the Catholic Church’s position on the abuse crisis.

It has been hyped, claiming, Catholic priests were merely homosexuals with 'consenting' young people.... because, after 'confirmation' there is equal accountability. I read the 'Jay' report ... and it is mind boggling that any follower of Christ would flaunt this 'report' as if it cleansed anything. The Heavenly Father will not be conned.

Confirmation takes place at 9th grade or earlier. So you believe the report states homosexual acts between priests and 15 year-old boys are justified as "consensual".

Post that portion of the report or take your anti-Catholic bullshit elsewhere.

I agree with GOP_Party_Animal. What the "Jay Report" disclosed, analyzed, and concluded is dreadfully disturbing from the point of view of sexual sickness, sin, and crime --- dreadful reading, although it's necessary to get it all out into the open. But I don't think anybody "flaunts" this report as if it "cleansed" anything.

Look, as far as Catholic teaching is concerned, it is gravely wrong (a serious sin) for anybody --- man or woman, adult or minor, "gay" or "straight," clergy or laity, anybody --- to have sexual relations in any way with anybody, except for natural fertile union as God intended it, with their God-blessed lawfully married spouse.

Any violation of the Moral Law is deeply corrupting, and criminally indictable stuff is just the tip of the iceberg.
