They didn't back in the 70's. Or 90's. In fact, they fought all the way to the Supreme Court in 2003 to keep homosexuals out.
But yeah, the organization was taken over by leftists a decade ago and I have no sympathy for them now as they are eaten up by greedy lawyers and shameless "victims".
The BSA has been a “dead man walking” since the SCOTUS ruling.
This is going to sound extreme, but I believe the organization should have closed itself down at that point.
