Aren’t most murders a result of mental illness, when you come down to it?
Sane people don’t murder people. Yeah, there’s “heat of the moment”, but even then it’s an anger management issue.

I really feel for those who have tried desperately to get help for mentally ill family members. Something needs be done to insure they get needed help.
I personally know families in this perdicament.

But red flagging the mentally ill as sanctioned public policy for national security reasons— especially if non-family members can phone it in — can & will be quickly weaponized to suit a political agenda.

Wake up, people.
The left has already branded Patriots & pro-lifers as “Nazis” and “extremists.”
Thousands of Stalin’s opponents were branded “mentally ill” & locked up in insane asylums, not so very long ago.

Exactly - I believe that there are many out there who obviously should not have access to firearms...but I do not trust the government to make those decisions and not overstep and abuse such a system to try to disarm everyone down the road.
Some of them “needles in a haystack ain’t too hard to see...but most can no longer be legally held for more than 24-48 hours and then they are released back to let the illness fester...some cannot be effectively treated and leave a person capable of going about a daily social life - they can only be “subdued” by enough drugs to make them incapable of any vigorous action and that is no longer an option....so they fill them with psychotropic drugs, that they really don’t understand how they “work” and put them out there to pose as “normal” people.
Catch 22 situation since the Left emptied the asylums...
