I have seen a few Freepers post the same thing:

How many guns do you own? Do you live in an area of the country that is friendly to gun owners. A federal law will screw us. I will not vote for Trump if he signs a Red Flag law. They will use the VA to go after vets and Medicare to go after the elderly. I will vote Republican House and Senate and hope for the best. Gun confiscation will start under Trump what could be worse.
Roll over, bend over, capitulate, fold, empower, compromise, wimp out, stick your head in the sand... All good for the future liberty and prosperity of our Grandchildren.
Why anyone would even consider these laws over constitutional due process just shows that this country is now full of selfish pussy soy boys who will not stand on principle like real men did before...
I am ashamed of my brothers who would even consider allowing this. Screw them... No go or it is finally time for the “adjustment”.

Yeah, it’s idiotic to have principles. Is there nothing Trump could do to lose your support? He will lose significant support if he jumps on the gun control bandwagon, and red flag laws are gun control laws.
