It won’t. As others on this form have stated, closing the so called Gun Show Loophole is just a rouse to eliminate private sales and bequeaths. If the Gun Show Law in its present form should be passed if you and your neighbor should want to enter into a sales transaction it would have to be processed through an FFL. Same thing with bequeathed guns. Example; I’m getting on in years and I have a list of my guns with my will stating who in my family I desire to have which gun. It’s not a legal document it’s just a list to help my wife disperse the guns. However, if she should have to process them through an FFL it would be an unwanted aggravation and expense. By requiring this the government would eventually have an updated and continuously maintained list of guns in private hands. Especially those sold prior to 1968 which are not currently on any government registry.
