LaPierre seems to have gone bad, and the President is getting some not-too-good advice.
Make your voices heard, folks. Red Flag is exactly that, it’s the whole head of the camel, and maybe its front hump. The nose has been there for a long time...

"LaPierre seems to have gone bad, and the President is getting some not-too-good advice."
From the article:
"LaPierre told Trump that endorsing tougher background checks...would not be popular with his voter base"
Trump has been working to expand background checks for some time, as shown in the article. Now, he is pushing for a federal bill to goad the remaining states into passing red flag laws.
The NRA only said that it is okay with the adjudications of the mentally unfit that have been in the laws of the states for a long time. There's big difference between those (due process) and red flags laws (no due process).

Red Flag is exactly that, its the whole head of the camel Correct. I am amazed that some here do not see it.
Once "Red Flag" become codified nationally (and providing funding for ALL 50 states to enact "Red Flag" laws is what Trump is backing) - then the Left has the knife to the throat of everyone it wants to destroy.
It won't stop with "crazy" gun owners. It will expand: "White Supremacists", Christians, "Haters", those who hold "Dangerous Views", those who posted the "wrong" thing.
I have read some of the Left's postings. This is EXACTLY what they have in mind.
