If cosmetics matter then please explain why after the El Paso shooting did we have 150 cops all dressed in various forms of digital camouflage? What foliage were they trying to blend into as they stood outside the concrete walls of Walmart and the shopping mall? Why did many of these men have night vision equipment mounted on their kevlar helmets in broad daylight? What was the need to be driving around the area in ARMORED CARS when everyone there knew the actual perpetrator was in custody and their were no further threats.

Could that have all been for show? Cosmetics? Optics?

Exactly what kind of message are the police trying to send with their legions of cops ALL outfitted with ACTUAL weapons of war and military gear?

Why do state and local police and non military federal agents possess tens of thousands of machine guns yet they are banned from the citizens? What threats does government face on our streets and in our neighborhoods that the American citizens don't face?

Couldn’t have been that the building wasn’t secure, and they did not know if there was more than one shooter? Perhaps they intended to douse the lights and go in dark.
