Former Democratic National Committee (DNC) chairwoman Donna Brazile said in a conversation with Fox News contributor Guy Benson on Friday that President Donald Trump “had nothing to do” with the mass shootings in Dayton, Ohio, and El Paso, Texas.

.@donnabrazile tells me she’s deeply disappointed by the rhetoric surrounding the post-shootings blame game. She says POTUS “has nothing to do with” the massacres.
“President Trump had nothing to do with the maniac, and I’m being gracious here, the maniac who shot up a Wal-Mart store,” Brazile continued. “He had nothing to do with the person who shot up, you know, the bar in Dayton. This is unbecoming of the country. The President of United States, you know, should not be blamed for you know these individual killers.”

Uh, I think her ‘sadness’ was actually that Trump couldn’t actually be linked to the killings.
Donna’s afraid that once the game of pinning the shootings on particular parties and personages begins, people will take a hard look at who really influenced the shooters - the Dayton shooter was a self-described leftist and Trump-hater and the guy in El Paso said specifically in his manifesto that he was angered by ten Democrats promising to give free healthcare to illegal immigrants - and when assignment to the real culprits begins, Donna’s people are in big big trouble......
Donna is a lib but she is also politically astute, which is to say she know what the small fraction of American voters is that will vote for people who spew crazy leftist nonsense. That’s why she gave Hillary the debate questions ;-)
Now she isn’t a Trump fan by any means but she knows where the crazy talk is going to take them. With luck she will be ignored.
Donna has had her moments of sanity over the years.

If that is a direct quote from Ms. Brass-balls, I applaud her, not for not blaming President Trump, but for referring to the shooters as “the maniacs” and not giving their names.
The more we dehumanize these pieces of trash, the less inclined the fringes will be to copy cat the crimes. At least that’s my opinion.

We need whatever help we can get, since, I suspect, most of the Republican leaders privately enjoy Trump being blamed for the killings.
What would be great is if she comes clean regarding the killing of Seth Rich - she knows what happened, as she’s virtually said so. But she owes the country the FULL STORY.
