Oh man, she looks like Brenda Snipes from Broward County, the corrupt elections board lady.
She also looks almost exactly like the lady behind me in line as I was returning a defective window air conditioner to a big retail store* a few days ago.
*Name withheld - the fault was not the retailer, and they were reasonable about the return.
1st she wondered what I was returning (the unit was in it’s original carton, which says “air conditioner” on the side, plus the returns lady had opened it up to confirm I was returning the correct item and not, say, dirt (like the recent Amazon scam).
Given the answer, then, incredibly, she said “I thought those were illegal, now.”
Well, maybe in some uber-liberal town somewhere? But, in the rural mid-south?
