The real question is” Why wasn’t the island searched at the same time his homes and office were searched?? It certainly isn’t a logistics matter, as the FBI has an office with a handful of agents in St. Thomas only a few miles from pedo island, and a large office in San Juan.
He had the local gubmint paid off?
Some legal beagles are wondering why he wasn’t charged with the Mann Act violations.
He was apparently VERY undercharged even for the crimes the feds had on him.
Not being charged with the Mann Act meant none of his residences, other than the mansion in NYC, were up for search immediately (from what i’ve read)
It’s a mystery...
