Several high-profile Senate Democrats warned the Supreme Court in pointed terms this week that it could face a fundamental restructuring if justices do not take steps to "heal" the court in the near future.

“Hey SCOTUS, you’re too political!
If you don’t stop, we’ll make you even MORE political!”
I’m sure Roberts appreciates being threatened. SCOTUS should admonish Congress.

Given how weak and mushy Roberts is, I’m thinking he was the deliberate target of all this.
“Hey, Johnny. Nice little Supreme Court you’ve got there. It would be a shame if anything happened to it.”
Clarification - if it worked in Chile, that’s their concern, ultimately.

Then the Republicans gleefully raise the number of Supreme Court seats back up from five to nineteen and cram the open seats with Mike Lee, Ted Cruz, Amy Coney Barrett, Eugene Volokh, Glenn Harlan Reynolds, Thomas Michael Hardiman, Donny Ray Willett, and seven other hard-core Constitutionalist nominees guaranteed to cause millions of raving leftists across the country to stroke out on the spot. ^____^
THEN the Republicans ram a constitutional amendment through the House and the Senate that permanently sets the number of Supreme Court seats to nineteen, whereupon it's quickly ratified by 38 or more States. The wailing of surviving far leftists is detected by sensor satellites in orbit. Mua-hah-hah!!!
They seem to forget that the Republicans can do it as well.
They can also SHRINK the court to 7 or 5 or 3 ....
Don’t they mean “heel” as in follow closely behind ones master?
Their "long march" is structured in a way that offers them nothing to lose and everything to gain, albeit perhaps in small increments.
That is why unless we are able to select one patriot such as Trump after another, we tend to lose ground. See, for example, the past 70 years.
