They pay so low because the illegals are willing to work cheap. They don't do the jobs Americans won't, they just undercut our wages. Democrats claim they want a living wage, then they force us to accept immigrants that drive that wage down and displace American workers.

Exactly. Employers hire illegals because they will work for less than citizens. If they can’t attract workers at $12/hr, they will simply have to raise the wages.

Bingo! The higher minimum wage is meant to eliminate jobs and deny jobs to Americans, while attracting illegals.
