That’s bullshit.
In our area young cops go to the big bad city to get trained—they get _lots_ of experience!
Then after a few years they get a cushy job in the suburbs looking for lost dogs and cats.
There is no such thing as a cushy job in the suburbs for police officers.
The LEOs needed to put up a ‘Gun Free Zone’ sign which would have saved the day.
“Pompous anarchist scum chiming in, eh?”
Nice. A personal attack. Is that how you go through life?
I’ve met a few nice cops (long ago), I’ve met hundreds of nasty cops. The city cops are the nastiest. I had occasion to visit the police facilities in several North Philly precincts as a tech contractor. Every office smelled of urine and feces and had dust bunnies three inches deep behind and under furniture. Only animals could work in that environment. The cells were cleaner! I have never seen a movie or television portrayal of a police facility that came close to that hellish reality.
If anyone here doubts me, go visit a North Philly precinct.
One of the trends in the area is for city cops to try like he!! to get a job with a suburban police force. They succeed, and bring the city he!! out with them.
Cops are out of control. They are funded by giving YOU tickets, and by federal grants. Do you think they work for you? Do you think they give a sh!t about your safety? The more crime there is, the more secure their jobs are.
I have means to protect myself, and criminals are not the only threat I see.
I watched hours of this while doing other things. I saw crowds, but nobody taunting, etc. I think this is fake news.
Thats great. Ive also been inside police departments. Surprise, none of them smelled like crap and were about as clean as youd expect an office space to be. Ive met many cops, most were decent people. Never met a cop that I would classify as nasty. For sure they are out there, but surprise, the prevalence is nowhere near what you claim to have experienced and Ive interacted with town, city, state and federal LE from all sorts of agencies and departments, both personally and professionally.
Its great that you have the means to defend yourself. I would guess most of us do. But when your elderly neighbor is carjacked, when a school is being shot up, when a cartel weed farm in the middle of a national forest needs to be uprooted, I dont suppose youre going to be Johnny-on-the-spot, are you Rambo? If you cant see the necessity of law enforcement, youre as much of a lunatic as your initial comment would suggest.
Just wall that section of the city off, and suspend all police activity in there.
Thank you. Many of those residents are victims of the thugs.
