A friend of the Dayton gunman...Kollie is charged with lying on a federal firearms form while buying a pistol not used in the attack...Dr. Kent Harshbarger said during a Thursday news conference that two people shot Aug. 4 by Betts were also shot by police but that none of the shots were lethal...The coroner said cocaine, antidepressants and alcohol were found in Betts’ system at the time of the shooting. A pipe device and a clear baggie carrying cocaine was found on Betts’ body.

Betts and his friend were both already prohibited as drug users. If they’d been busted before the mass murder, they might have been in prison instead of murdering people.

We have to stop incarcerating drug users, haven’t you heard? So say politicians and those on this forum.
Unfortunately, you are correct about numerous posters here who thinks drugs should not be regulated or illegal.
Why the h isn’t his girlfriend being indicted for multiple murders also??
She’s already stated that she knew he had murderous intentions, she knew he was psychotic, he showed her the kill list, he showed her weapons ... she saw all those signs of a disaster about to fold and said & did NOTHING to prevent it

I wouldn’t incarcerate these animals. They should be drawn and quartered on public television. Perhaps these sickos would think twice about the consequences of having their body parts separated.
