... There is a subtext here unmentioned, which is that Trump will unveil his “Deal of the Century” for Israeli/Palestinian peace in the lead into the election. The BDS movement is really in its death throws and they are fighting to survive knowing that one way or another their gig is up. If Palestinians negotiate (and they will face heavy international pressure to do so) BDS is done. If they refuse to negotiate they will be exposed as intransigent and the world will throw up their hands over their cause and BDS is done.
In this light, the BDS thing is pulling out all the stops in support of a Palestinian negotiating position and the attempt to undermine Trump and support for negotiations. Only an idiot would advocate for more conflict after generations have been lost but this is what the Palestinian supporters want. More Israelis have the interests of the Palestinians in mind than these moronic BDS people who want to perpetuate the undemocratic kleptocratic theocratic rule over the Palestinians by their own self-appointed leaders.
