Because Holidays (Holy Days) have been totally separated from their origins and purposes
Every holiday now is the same. They have become feast of consumerism and reasons to throw a party.
The reason for the feast of All Saints Day has been totally lost in our secular society and stores like Target have put the target on your wallet.
The more God recedes the more Mammon emerges.
Well said and that is the word... Consumerism. It is ruining this country.
