By the end of 2020, CBP and DOD expect to construct a total of 450 miles or more of new border wall system if additional funds are identified, including up to 334 miles of new border wall system completed by CBP in high priority locations across the Southwest border using a combination of the Department of Homeland Security appropriations, Department of Defense 10 U.S.C. § 284 Counter-Narcotics funding and Treasury Forfeiture Funds.

The difference between the 334 miles and the 450 miles, may be the emergency declaration money from Military Construction (MILCON) accounts ($3.6 billion), which was not included in the list of funds for the 334 miles.
That MILCON money is still subject to open law suits.
Neither of the the two numbers given (334 miles or 450 miles), seems to include any potential funding for next fiscal year (2020). If additional funding is available in FY 2020, additional miles will likely be contracted, but their construction would extend through the following year (2021).
Just the first 300-400 most important miles on the priority list (border cities and the Rio Grande Valley), go a long way toward doing the job.
Git ‘er Done!
Authoritative estimate for the border wall around election time.
They have the whole thing planned, and are ready to execute - just add the money.
One of the most senior Border Patrol Officers recently reported that the first run of new bollards in San Diego (completed last week), has freed up 150 Border Patrol officers on every shift, to reinforce other area of the border.
Totally.
Great Physical Border constraints with adequate coverage = success!
Here’s to this “big, beautiful wall” being matched by a big, beautiful Trump 2020 LANDSLIDE!
Great info beaubo
Thank you for keeping us on top of latest developments on tbe wall.
Customs and Border Protection, in an official Press Release, projects completion of 334 to 450 miles of border Wall system by the end of 2020 (around the election).
The difference seems to be the one pot of money ($3.6 billion in Military Construction funds, only available by Presidential emergency declaration), which is still subject to open law suits.
It seems they are (conservatively) not yet counting on any potential FY 2020 funds at all, despite the President requesting $5 billion in the budget, and another $3.6 billion from other sources for next year. That would contract for many more additional miles of wall if he gets it - possibly allowing him to build or contract for the entire 1,100 miles of barrier in the comprehensive border security plan produced in response to his Executive Order 13767, during his first term.
All of the border must be constantly monitored (technology), and be covered by personnel capable of responding, but only 1,100 miles require barrier - areas passable by vehicles, or walk-able within some measure they calculated.
Thanks for the report ! Always appreciated.
BUILD THAT WALL!
Here is a way to build a wall. The government needs to find a way to shut the border, but they want the votes and for the next census pack the states with more illegals to skew the data.

One of the reasons that went up that fast is that the barrier they constructed is 10 shorter than the spec and doesnt go into the ground as far. This is why their official tender offer was rejected by CBP.
Congress spends $12.5 billion per day...
build the WALL, but also increase deportations.
Apparently, Fisher also had a past performance issue with Government contracting (late delivery), and that continues to hurt a contractor for about five years, in competing on future awards.
They sure have their Senator pushing for them though.
Congress (the majority of it) is hellbent on destroying this country’s sovereignty through demographic destruction...the globalist agenda, don’t you know.....they will NEVER help Trump.
Congress is spending over $300 billion per month on all kinds of stupid crap...
Good info, I didn’t know
I give Trump a lot of credit for doing everything he possibly could to get this much built. It should not have been this difficult, but he hasn’t given up.
