The New York Times plans to shift its coverage of President Trump from whether he colluded with Russia to race, the paper’s executive editor Dean Baquet said during a recent staff meeting, according to a transcript of the meeting posted by Slate.com. “And I mean race in terms of not only African Americans and their relationship with Donald Trump, but Latinos and immigration,” he said, according to the transcript of the meeting, which reportedly took place on Monday.
Baquet said the paper now has to “regroup” and shift its resources and emphasis from the Russia story to the race story.
“We built our newsroom to cover one story, and we did it truly well. Now we have to regroup, and shift resources and emphasis to take on a different story. I’d love your help with that,” he said.
“In the coming weeks, we’ll be assigning some new people to politics who can offer different ways of looking at the world. We’ll also ask reporters to write more deeply about the country, race, and other divisions. I really want your help in navigating this story,” he said.
Baquet described in the decision to shift from the Russia story — which he called “Chapter 1 of the story of Donald Trump” — to race and how the paper was caught a “bit a little tiny flat-footed” after former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s testimony.

I hope you are right and that the voters will once again see through that ruse. President Trump wants ALL Americans to have a great life. And so do his supporters. We all want to be able to pursue our dreams without keeping someone else down to achieve it.
Baquet is also a black racist and hatemonger. I never thought I’d live so long at to hear/read major newspapers editors/owners admit that they “hate” certain people and are making their paper a tool of “hatred” in attempts to destroy them.
However, the Wash. Post, run by the brilliant but EVIL Jeff Bezos (and his psychopathic editorial writers) and the NYT run by whatever insane Sulzberger is still alive (isn’t it Pinch the Viet Cong/No. Vietnamese cheer-master who wanted the US to lose in S. Vietnam?) and this guy Baquet, a black racist/hatemonger/Paul Robeson-like psycho, both show us how sick a good part of America has become (the liberal/leftist/socialist/Marxist and STUPIDS).
As a former card carrying journalist, I cringe at what I read from the lunatic left because too many supposedly rational people believe all that shit without rationally challenging some of the worst of it.
One dumbassed woman in Fall Church wrote to her local paper about the need for anti-gun legislation to stop the “mass” killings. She wants the Va. State Legislature to do something (as if we don’t have enough gun-control laws already - which she knows nothing about) but thinks that they won’t because the NRA has its headquarters in Virginia.
That is like saying that she wants to do something about “wars around the world & peace” but can’t because we have the US Marine Academy at Quantico, the AF Base at Langley, and naval bases at Newport News/Norfolk.
She doesn’t seem to get the concept that guns and the military keep the peace as much of any organization can. Otherwise we’d all be singing in German or Russian or Chinese by now, those of us who weren’t executed in the first heady days of conquest. Just ask the So. Vietnamese and Cambodians how that works.
Some people, like this woman, are just too stupid to deserve to live and endanger sane people. She is the one we have to defeat in our media efforts to print the truth and then at the election booth. Otherwise they will continue to breed the destruction of America through stupidity and cowardice.

Race itself is the most biased issue in America. There is such a thing as “American truth”. Men and women have died for it aand they do so today. Too bad you never set yout primary objective on publishing truth, and only truth, all the time. Your readrship would improve and you could be a beacon of truth, people would depend on your editorial positions. You might also recover the status you had long ago. Now you are just another liberal anti-American voice to be put in the trash.
No need for a meeting. The MSM already shifted without a moment’s hesitation, and deplorables and the general public saw right through it without a moment’s pause.
One hoax after another. Russia collusion hoax and now the Trump is racist hoax. Maybe these assholes can name for me one time Trump EVER criticized someones race, you know, like Democrats do every day when it comes to someone white.
We should bookmark and save this information about the insidiousness of Baquet & company for later posting. Voters forget, and we need to remind them.
And remember that the false terms, white supremacist and white nationalist will continue to be used to bend the minds of the populace. That tactic of linguistic activism must be continuously explained and refuted. All linguistic activism from the left—especially the social left—must be analyzed, ridiculed, defeated and socially abolished.
