Yeah, yeah, I know: They had two Democratic senators when McCain and Flake were there. Har dee har.
The dirty little secret about Maverick and Flake is that they almost always voted with Trump and McConnell. There was one enormous exception to that rule, when McCain voted no on ObamaCare repeal, but on most legislative matters and judicial confirmations they were on the team.
Kyrsten Sinema and Mark Kelly wont be. And if you believe this new poll from OH Predictive Insights, those are the two people wholl be representing Arizona in the Senate in 2021.
Retired astronaut Mark Kelly leads [Sen. Martha] McSally, the retired fighter pilot-turned-politician, by a 46 percent to 41 percent margin, according to the poll conducted by OH Predictive Insights, a Phoenix-based pollster, and released first to The Hill
McSally has fallen behind, the poll suggests, as President Trumps standing takes a hit in Arizona. Just 47 percent of likely voters in the state approve of Trumps job performance, down from 50 percent in May and 54 percent in October. His disapproval rating has risen from 46 percent last October to 52 percent today

People love free stuff from the government, and with $22 Trillion in debt, and near zero interest rates from the Federal Reserve for our printed, fiat currency - the Left can use government to buy a lot of votes
McSally has no idea what planet she is on.
Seems to have the same advisors as Ted Cruz did in 2016.
THis is what happens when you take a losing candidate, push them through the primaries, and then, when they prove they can’t win, appoint them to the SECOND seat so they can lose that one as well.
There are two republicans in Arizona that would have no problems winning both senate seats. Neither is named McSally.
To be fair Sinema votes with Trump alot, more republican voting than most republicans.
> The dirty little secret about Maverick and Flake is that they almost always voted with Trump and McConnell.
Voting with McConnell is nothing to brag about. Aside from that, the “voted with” argument is meaningless. RINOs vote with conservatives when it has little effect and against when it matters.
>There was one enormous exception to that rule, when McCain voted no on ObamaCare repeal
And there we go.
Isnt that just totally eating McSallys lunch? What the hell is she doing?
Which is why the DNC to make sure she was the replacement.
If they couldn’t get Cindy McCain, they would pick someone easy to beat.
I am not sure why the Governor there decided to appoint McSally...
Other than it would make her an incumbent in the next election cycle... but she already lost....
***************************************************
This is only IMHO.
I think he appointed McSally (he couldnt have found a poorer campaigner if he tried) because he thinks she will LOSE the 2020 Special Election to whatever candidate the DemocRATS run. Dicey would himself then run in the 2022 election that will fill that seat for a full 6-year term. I can think of no other reason for him to appoint McSally.
It won’t stay that way.
As soon as their are two RAT Senators her, you will see the real Sinema.
Yes i have been surprised by her.
McSally is for America and Arizona, period. The Senator has no other agenda than to do what is right for the USA and AZ.....unlike Omar and Tlaib...why are they still in our congress?
Where is the Arizona GOP? I say they find a telegenic, charismatic Hispanic conservative.
“Demographics is destiny.”
The Republicans could have stopped it but they’ve been on board the immigration train for years.
“The Senator has no other agenda than to do what is right for the USA and AZ...”
Really? Why did she refuse to reject Hillary in 2016? What sign is there that she cares anything about Arizona? Does she even know what issues matter in Arizona? Is she doing anything to advance a conservative agenda in Arizona?
If it is a choice between her and Mr Gabby Giffords, I’ll vote for McSally and try to get others to vote for her. Mr Gabby Giffords (and his wife) are turds. But McSally is not someone you vote FOR.
McCain was a democrat senator.
And we aren’t laughing about that truth.
Still have yet to meet ONE Trump voter in AZ who would not vote for him, but have met two (one in AZ) who voted Johnson who will now vote Trump.
Except 50% of Hispanics now backing Trump.
Demographics is destiny doesn’t explain much except in age, where we are kicking the world’s butt.
Hmmmm. Did you claim the same in 2018. Reality needs to be part of this too. We cant all be in dream land. I remember before the 2018 election many here were saying wed pick up seats or lose max 10. We freaking lost 40! Ok so not historic but it does suck to not see it coming. All we see is lollipops and chocolate around here.
I have faith
The President knows it is us or them. He must kill or be killed.
At the proper place and time,
Why did she refuse to reject Hillary in 2016?///
I’m sure she was under insane’s sway, and Trump’s manner put off a lot of McSally types.
Even though a retired COL she seems more comfortable taking orders, than giving them. She also doesn’t seem very bright, but compared to rats like casy and whorono she appears genius.
I’m not too concerned with this poll, at this time, since the rats lead is in single digits. I also believe the following factors will win the day.
In 2018 it seems the Kelley Ward supporters couldn’t vote McSally and the lazy Trump voters stayed home. With Ward, the AZ GOP chair now on board, and Trump on the ballot, these 2 blocks of voters should help.
Ducey won big in 2018, so the GOP still has the muscle to get the job done.
Her opponent seems an empty suit to me, running only on celebrity status and no experience.
A lot can happen but I think the downhill gradient is now in Trump’s direction and it will pull McSally along with it.
