Trump is the most productive, prolific “BUSINESS-MINDED” President to ever lead America.
///////////////////

Trump for years, has seen American born” multi-national” corporations leave the USA and set up sweatshops in China, and Mexico thus avoiding US corporate tax and US labor costs. They then have the nerve to “export” from China to the USA 75% of their product tariff free.
When he became president he cut the corporate tax and allowed them to repatriate their money enticing them to return to America. That was step one. At that point he increased the pressure and the incentive for them to return by making it considerably more expensive to sell products made in China back to USA (read that, imposed tariffs)
While all the superficial thinkers and dumb leftists screamed “trade war” , Trump actually was merely making it even more advantageous for US born companies to return to America because it would positively effect their bottom line. Like he said....America First!

“That’s a pretty darn acceptable cost”

I think that kind of efficiency is the hallmark of what I like to call the “Trump Doctrine”. Rather than get dragged into indecisive, expensive and bloody military conflicts, the Trump Doctrine is: “Take their money”.

Bankrupting the adversary is the business model of victory. As a real (successful) businessman, President Trump has fought these battles before, and knows what it takes. Other Republicans would send American kids to die in war, but feel that it would be immoral to use “unfair” economic constraints on adversaries.

It looks like Venezuela and likely Iran will be bankrupt before the election, and China will be set up to to have the last struts kicked out around then.

Fundamentalist islam is really a State-supported movement, and its roots are now being strongly challenged by the new Prince (MBS) in Saudi Arabia, and the economic embargo on the Iranian mullahs. Pakistan and Turkey remain as problems, but there really is also major movement under President Trump against the roots of the islamist problem - maybe even a new approach to Mid East peace, and a recognition of Israel by the Arab States.

The President is also managing an economic turnaround in the USA, while while he is simultaneously juggling the hostile media, the subversion of the Left, and a supermodel wife.

I think he would be bored in any other job.

Yes, I would have said Islam, but now I say the Deep State. Deep State, Islam, then China.

I will remember that stat about 1% for all the never Trumpers that shout about how tariffs are a tax on Americans. Frankly I think almost any cost is worth it.
