No flying, motor transport, electricity, or much of modern civilization.

They did this to me back in ‘81. Stranded me in Amsterdam. Fortunately KLM stepped up and honored our tickets.

British Airways is not what it used to be. I still remember the delicious economy meal LHR-MOW in 1996. Now, you don’t even get coffee or water on the LHR-Kyiv flight. Oops... that route is being cancelled along with the 48-year route to St. Petersburg. They aren’t coping with the discount carriers, such as Ryan and Wizz Airlines. The pilots are probably longing for the glory days but they are gone.

I like British Airways but the prospect of being struck on a cot at Heathrow sends me elsewhere.
