One of our parish priests was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, he died 6 weeks after the doctor appointment.

Bingo! She stays on the bench to SCREW* TRUMP, NOT because she's up to the job.

As did my great uncle. The only silver lining to the pain was the speed.

My co-worker died from this a few years ago.
He had no symptoms until one morning he came to work and was Homer Simpson yellow.
I called his attention to it. He saw his doctor two days later.

Too late he died within the year.

“While the court said Ginsburg’s tumor “was treated definitively...”

I cannot believe the court issued this inane statement. Other than some benign sorts of cancers skin etc. there is no such thing as a cancer being “treated definitively”

No responsible physician would ever issue such a conclusive proclamation concerning the treatment of ANY pancreatic cancer let alone one involving an 86 year old patient.

My mom died from it. Zero symptoms. My mom was fit and healthy at age 72

One day her back was hurting and they took x rays and found it.

Died 3 months later.

IK would love the Supreme Court to be conservative, but there is no way I’m hoping for pancreatic cancer on any individual.. When we reach that level, God will certainly judge our character accordingly.

“Why not just get a pancreas transplant and get rid of the diseased one?”

It’s a silent cancer. By the time you get any symptoms it has already spread.

Other than the fact he smoked like a chimney. He crash landed his plane due to lack of oxygen as he flew over a mountain range outside of LA some place. I think he came down in a construction site - not badly hurt.

“Correction - Vince Flynn had prostate cancer...”

That’s just sad. Prostate cancer is one of the most treatable. Vince Flynn was my favorite author. Never have I felt so badly about the death of an author.

A guy I used to work with had been feeling ill for a couple of weeks. (We both worked in cancer detection) He went into work one Monday and told his secretary he needed to see a DR, ASAP, he had been vomiting all weekend. He died 10 days later, never leaving the hospital.

Well, it finally got the right person.

Replace her with a Pro Life judge.

I’m sorry for your loss.

My second cousin lives in Oregon with his wife and two young beautiful daughters....elementary school age.

His wife just had a baby boy three days ago, and the whole family are all trying to travel to Florida to see the wife’s father, who has pancreatic cancer and is not doing well.

I believe Michael Landon and Jack Kemp also were taken by pancreatic cancer.

I wish there was a way to detect it in the early stages.

Can pancreatic cancer be detected during a normal medical checkup? My last checkup was in April, including blood and urine testing and I was told I was A-OK.

The exact same thing happened to a co-worker of mine. 6 months. The “yellow death”. He was a good man.

There is a blood test that shows a marker, if its very elevated thats a red flag..otherwise other than an MRI I dont think there is a way to detect it
